This eclectic garden was established years ago, filled with ornamentals, shrubs, and trees before John and Annemarie moved into town in 2017. Its original charm remains, now joined by veggie patches, edible perennials, naturalised herbs and greens, and native plants. Annemarie uses the garden as her creative home studio, sourcing props and ingredients for photography and recipes, alongside her chooks and gardening content featured in ABC Organic Gardener magazine. This chemical-free cottage garden returns for a second year, offering visitors a studio-backyard experience and a glimpse into the place where her first cookbook, Québec Kitchen Abroad, was created. Released this year in hardcover, copies will be available for purchase and signing during the open garden.
