Runnymede
Ian and Trish Pratt 9 Hilltop Road
Charity: Rosewood Pony Club and Tumbarumba Garden Club
This garden has old and new elements. It was established many years ago but has been reinvented several times. A large swamp cypress stands as a sentinel beside the front gate, and a graceful weeping willow vies for attention in the corner. The rustic pathway from the front gate leads to a Japanese wisteria trained as a standard, so that it looks like a tree, which should be in full bloom. Rhododendrons and azaleas will be blooming and other colourful perennials should be ready to star. Wander around the well-tended lawns cared for by Ian and enjoy the ambience of an old garden which has grown rather than been organised.
